Unilever Foodsolutions sponsors 2010 World Congress for chefs Unilever Foodsolutions is Platinum VIP sponsor of the 34th world congress of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) – in Santiago, Chile, on January 24th – 28th 2010, the world’s largest gathering of chefs. During the congress, Unilever Foodsolutions head chefs from 10 different countries will host cooking demonstrations in two booths, one in which participants can experience food related to the natural and authentic trend and one to Latin American flavours and cuisine. Foodsolutions products, like Knorr Professional Bouillons, Knorr Herb & Spice Pureés and Hellmann’s Authentic Vinaigrettes will be used to prepare the dishes. Themed ‘A taste of Theatre’, the World Gourmet Summit is Asia's foremost world-class gastronomic event. It presented two weeks of gourmet excitement. Each week featured six Masterchefs, six Winemakers and six Hosting Restaurants as well as special guest chefs.

Sponsorship of the Culinary Olympics at the International Exhibition of Culinary Art 2004 Unilever Foodsolutions sponsors the German Chef Olympic team at the International Exhibition of Culinary Art 2004 in Messe Erfurt/Thüringen, Germany. This event is one of the most important event for the “Cooks and Chefs“ - the International Exhibition of Culinary Art.

Creativity and innovation, tradition and new ideas meet under an international influence, just like in a melting pot. The event sets trends for the future and all aspects of the perfect art of cooking are presented in a competition of the best.

More than one thousand cooks and confectioners from 33 countries competed for medals and the Olympic champion title in an Olympic competition at the Culinary Olympics 2000 in Erfurt. Altogether 115 national and regional teams and about 300 individual exhibitors demonstrated their efficiency with top culinary performances in front of an enthusiastic audience: Cooking live in the 'glass' kitchens and with artistic exhibitions at the Plate Presentation.
